Cinnamon Press have confirmed that they want to publish Robin Ford's second full collection. Robin will have to wait until January 2010, but congratulations to him.  It will be called 'On The Brink' .

A project for the group will be "Looking out - Looking in"

We are working on a Cities project in which we, as rural island dwellers, see city life…. impressions….experiences.

During the autumn we shall be working on:
- driving and travel;
- writers who use both poetry and prose – John Burnside,    Lavinia Greenlaw, Margaret Atwood, Robert MacFarlane;
- close reading of poems, maybe followed by writing.

An overall theme that may take us through the winter arises from the writers mentioned and will lead to writing about wild places, inside and outside of us.
